Before joining Marinovic & Alcalde, in 2019, he was a partner at Philippi PrietoCarriozosa Ferrero DU & Uría (PPU), and led the dispute resolution area during 2008-2014. From 2006-2008, he was an associate lawyer at Rodríguez, Vergara y Cía. Additionally, he was the chief legal officer (CLO) at Punta de Lobos during 2001-2006, and at Prospecta during 1996-1998. Between 1993-1995, he was the general counsel at Enersis and was appointed as Legal Adviser of the Central Bank of Chile. During 1992-1995 he was general counsel of Chilectra. At the beginning of his career, he was an attorney for the Central Bank of Chile.
Associate Professor of Civil Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (since 1989); Member of the Editorial Board of Revista Chilena de Derecho (since 2000) y Director of Centro de Gobierno Corporativo UC (since 2002).
